Alan is a director and producer with 40 plus years’ experience. As well as The Naked Wanderer, his cinema documentary Harmony the Missing 8th is being premiered in 2019. Alan is Australian Producer of Jia Zhangke’s Mountains May Depart (山河故人) which competed in Palme d’Or 2015 and the animated movies Kung Fu Style and Perfect Friends. Since 2000 he has also directed the ABC/HBO documentary Child Soldiers (Silver World Medal New York Film Festival), produced and directed the ABC/FA documentary A Compassionate Rage, the ABC series Hell On Ice, the National Geographic/ABC series Black Ice, the ABC/NDR doco series Wild Valley, the dramatized doco miniseries Air Australia.
Helen is a managing producer who entered film production 24 years ago, after a career in education. Helen line produced the Australian production studio for animated features Kung Fu Style and Perfect Friends and was Australian Line Producer for Mountains May Depart. Other films include the Australia/UK/New Zealand miniseries co-production Savage Play with Sir Ian Richardson, the doco dramatised mini-series Air Australia and numerous documentaries including the Australia/German co-production series Wild Valley, A Compassionate Rage filmed in Albania, Jordan and Australia and production managed McArthur’s Dream with Jack Thompson, filmed in seven countries.
Callan Durlik is an Australian comedian, actor and writer. The Naked Wanderer is Callan’s debut feature film in which he also plays the role of Cameron. He is a stand-up comic who has supported Hollywood star Tom Green on his Australian tour and who won the biggest audience-voted comedy competition in the country Green Faces. Callan was Australia’s youngest DJ and has worked in Radio in Australia and the UK.

Michael McDermott’s 30-plus-years-cv includes the multi-award-winning Hounds of Love. He has recently lensed the thriller ‘Below’ starring Anthony LaPaglia and Ryan Corr. He has covered the America’s Cup and 1988 Olympics in Korea, filmed documentaries for Discovery Channel HD Theatre and is DOP on advertising campaigns for Coca Cola, McDonalds, Toyota and KIA.
Nigel Devenport’s work includes Zak Hilditich’s These Final Hours starring Jessica De Gouw and Nathan Phillips, John V Soto’s movies Crush (Brook Harmon) and Needle (Ben Mendelsohn) and was art director on TV movies The Great Mint Swindle and Natural Justice: Heat and the web series Chinaboy.
Nicole Ferraro an Australian Production Design Guild Awards 2017 nomination for Best Costume Design on a Television Production for her work on Top Knot Detective and was costume designer for the series The China Boy Show and Koko: A Red Dog Story.
The Naked Wanderer is Mark D’Angelo’s first movie as composer. He has a long CV composing for TV, producing and performing as a multi-instrumentalist with top recording companies and is a Bachelor of Music Performance in classical clarinet and orchestral composition at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music & Victorian College of the Arts.

Meredith Watson Jeffrey edited the feature films Blame and Southern Cross and recently completed the ABC series The Heights and has 21 years of other TV credits including the miniseries and TV movies Shark Net, 3 Acts of Murder, The circuit and series Mal.com and many documentary series. When cyclones threatened filming on The Naked Wanderer schedules were pushed back and Meredith had to go onto a previous commitment once she had finished the first fine cut. Additional fine cuts were done by Marcus D’Arcy (nominated for an Academy Award for Babe) and Kevin Manning (Wild Valley, Hell On Ice, A Compassionate Rage).
